New York City is currently bidding for a new casino license, and with several big players vying for the opportunity, a 12-billion-dollar proposal stands out.
Wynn Resorts and Related Companies have partnered to bring a mega casino resort to New York’s Hudson Yard. However, the project is dependent on state-issued licensing. One factor that the New York Gaming Facility Location Board (GFLB) requires is community support.
Residents who wanted to preserve the current landscape that supports local wildlife initially opposed the Hudson Yard project. To address those concerns, Wynn Resorts released a new promotional video showing how the facility would blend into the current setting and dedicated 5.6 acres for a park.
