The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has released its revenue data for February, showing that revenue is up across the board. When compared to revenue from February 2022, the gambling sector is up 21.65 for the month.
Combined revenue for all legal gambling options in the state came to $456.8 million. Retail slots led the revenue report with $202.8 million, followed by table games which produced $74.5 million in revenue for the month.
iGaming Revenue For February 2023
iGaming operators have reported a 28.5% increase across the board compared to last February. However, revenue for the year is down slightly from January.
The bulk of iGaming revenue was also produced by popular slot titles with $92.8 million in revenue. Online casino table games also saw a jump in revenue, with a 15% growth to $32.1 million for the month. Online poker continues to suffer as revenue has dropped to $2.6 million.
Sports Gambling Revenue Soars In Pennsylvania
Online sports betting in Pennsylvania has grown by 9861.87% compared to last year’s numbers. In February of 2022, Pennsylvania reported negative revenue for the month.
This year, most of the revenue was generated from online sports betting, which produced $57.4 million in revenue; domestic sports betting only generated $4.7 million. There are currently 13 retail sports betting locations in Pennsylvania located inside domestic casinos.
